Mornington day trip

Prefer day trip to Mornington since we've cancelled the trip to Adelaide. Should have a lot to look at Mornington e.g. National parks, beaches, scenics, swimming etc.

I also wanted to go Mt Dandenong for sunset!!!!!!!!!! Apparently there has nice view to see the sunset... looking forward..! :)

Day 4

Last day in Sydney. Tried to wake up early and fully utilise the day..

First place to visit of the day - Chinese Garden.. Pretty nice place.. however it's build in the city area.. It's theme is about Friendships.. and full of Chinese cultures in there.. beautiful plants, pavilions, ducklings, birds, koi in the ponds, lizards, and rocks.

We went walked across the road to China Town.. short little China Town.. and full of restaurants.. Further up was Paddy's Market.. it's factory outlet!.. time to do some shopping.. muahhahaa.. Before that, we sat down @ the cafe for coffee and peacan tart... nice one!

We both bought a jacket from Frap House and I bough a cardigan from Review. Registered to be Review member too! :) Proceed to upstairs - Galaxy World.. which is the entertainment centre to play games and machines... Play on Deal or No Deal machine.. it's fun! Ended spent $20 and won 77 tokens... exchanged a Car stationary set for my nephew!!

Lunch time..! Just had yumcha outside the galaxy world.. Looked authentic as pretty much asians having yumcha there... No doubt, really authentic.. food was good and they have those trolleys to cook vege, radish cakes, rice noodle rolls etc fresh... similar to those yumcha restaurants in HK... love to experience that..

After lunch, took monorial to city centre... visited to Sydney Tower! Honestly nothing special.. LOL... is just an experience to see the view of Sydney... I reckon Eureka Tower in Melb is much worthy! Missed the OzTrek session and decided not to go for it.. We then headed to QVB (Queen Victoria Building) - old building that is now a famous shopping centre in the town.. It's such a landmark in Sydney and it's a must visit place whenever you came to Sydney...

So tired.. exhausted of doing so much walking for the day... and it's still early.. what else to do before we go to airport???? Took monorial back to Convention Centre and decided to go for Under the Sea 3D @ IMAX... 50mins film and it's amazing to watch it...

After the movie, went to Lindt Cafe - My favourite chocolate!!! I ordered a dark hot chocolate and cappuccino... also a Choc Eclaire... yum yummmmm...! Pretty full on and it's time to leave the busy Darling Harbour.. Walked back to hotel, collected our baggages, waited @ taxi tank, and left to the airport!!!!!!

Good bye Sydney..!

Day 3

Morning - Had brekky @ Pancake the Rocks.. nice place.. big portion of brekky and can't finish it..!

After brekky, visited to National Maritime Museum. It was so much to see down there on the destroyer, submarine and Endeavor. Submarine.. is such a small little bugger... you can't survive in there if you are a fatty or tall monster... Doubt that how the crews sleep on their bunkers with just limited space... Not easy.. Repect!

Nearly 1pm - Headed off to Captain Cook counter to claim the Whale Watching cruise tickets... which I paid online... It was a bizzare cruise... didn't think the sea will be rough.. but it just did... Didnt see whale appear and just saw 1 dolphin swimming behind the cruise. :( Consequences of not taking sea sick pill - THROWN UP big time...

Back to hotel and rested.. can't wait to take shower to wash away the mess that caused on the cruise.. Felt hungry after all and thought of having buffet... LOL... Ended up walked down to Star City - Sydney Casino to have buffet @ Garden Buffet.. Full of asians in there.. and that place was pretty full though... Food was alright and soft drinks are free flow... Just both of us are still sick after the cruise... ended up didn't eat much and left that place early.
